Germany cruised thru

An outstanding performance by the Germans, trashing the Ecuadorians 3-nil; embolding their 3rd victorious win in the WC2006, marching their way to the last 16 in style. To date, Klose is the current top scorer of WC2006 with 4 goals to his credit.

Poland din go home goaless, with a 2-1 victory over Costa Rica, whom who sadly went home without a point.

Germany topped Group A and Ecuador claiming 2nd spot. Sending Poland and Costa Rica out of the World Cup.
