caring parents, pls appreciate

i've came across many of my colleagues in seagate, who are indeed very caring towards their family. sacrifice alot of their precious time which you hardly imagine. working and yet sleeping around 4 - 5 hrs daily and mostly interrupted slp..

at first, i didn't know they op for nite shift instead of being given nite shift. until recently some conversation with a few of them then i realised that. they were telling me they don hv time to slp much at home, i was wondering why. as they were saying, then i realised the reason they op for nite shift, is to enable their spouse to go work during the day while their kids are still being taken care of. they sacrifice alot of their resting time for the kids; teaching them h/w, cook them meals, do housechores, etc etc.. i'm quite impressed with them. both parents working plus looking after kids, its a huge sacrifice.. how less the time both husband and wife can have for themselves.. the kids should be reali glad and appreciate their parents thoughts and doings for them..
