CNY: arrival of the doggie year

hey, its the first day of the lunar new year.. its my favorite chinese zodiac year. Yes, its the year of the DOG.. cool yeah..

i had a wonderful reunion dinner last nite with my parents. as usual reunion dinner comprises of only my daddy, mummy and myself, since my sis got married already. we had bbq steamboat dinner, from veri hungry after doing some last minute chores, to veri veri full after the dinner.. dad and mum went to bed soon after some tv session till around 1am..

as for me i take the effort to be awake thru the nite to 守岁 to bless my parents for the upcoming year[its a tradition to do it on cny eve nite]. lucky theres some live soccer matches and some entertaining shows to keep me awake. for some even more lucky ones with more people in the household one can mahjong thru the nite, too bad i don hv that chance. with some chatting with frens online oso i manage to keep myself awake till 5 plus in the morni. i concussed unknowingly with the nite lights still on.

mum woke me up ard 11 plus in the mornin to head to my relative's place to 拜年. dragged myself out of bed and we head of to my relative place. we were one of the latest there as usual.. haha.. eat a bit and had my one and only game of mahjong.. cause most of them are leaving le.. and guess wat, i won on the seat tat haven got a single win at all since start.. not bad huh.. haha.. won 3 bucks. then my parents and i went off and went house to house hopping le.. bumped into SL as i was on the way going to one of my relative place and had a short chat with her.

today's angpaos collections seems quite good.. got around 20 today. i think that amazingly equals my last year's collections, ha.. i still feels my mum is still quite at the losing end, after all she's giving away angpaos 2 or 3 at a go, but i'm the only one to take one back.. haha.. but lucky this event only happens once a year only, if not, i cannot imagine.. so still quite okay.. haha..
